Your Legal Authority Membership Benefits |
The first step in allowing Legal Authority to help you land the job of your dreams is to become a member.
Your membership fee of $195 is good for the life of your career, and we will never ask for renewal fees of any kind. This one-time fee will enable us to process your resume and get you into our system. It is also the initial step in contacting the employers that meet your criteria.
Here are just a few of the benefits you will receive by becoming a Legal Authority Member:
- Lifetime consultations with your dedicated employment advocate.
You may call upon your employment advocate with questions or for career suggestions, advice, or information about the job market. Your membership is important to us, and we will be here for you long after your mailing has been sent out.
- Free resume help.
Your employment advocate is also available to you for help on your resume. Thinking about adding something to your "Duties and Responsibilities" section? Or perhaps it is time to delete something from a former job that is no longer relevant? Your employment advocate is an attorney who is experienced in job searches and can guide you through these decisions.
- Free searches for life.
This is perhaps the greatest benefit of a Legal Authority membership. Through your employment advocate, you will have access to our database of millions of potential employers throughout the U.S and internationally. We can narrow your search down to selected counties, firm sizes, areas of practice, etc. This enables us to give you a precise set of employers that meet the criteria you want. Whether you're just starting off or you're an established attorney curious about "what else is out there," we'll search for you and let you know. We will then be able to help you decide what searches you might want to purchase for your mailings.
- Free pre- and post-interview consultations with your employment advocate.
We are confident that your membership will yield plenty of interviews for you, and we are here to help at that stage as well. Our advocates are well-versed in modern interviewing techniques, and their help can be invaluable. Even if you have obtained an interview on your own without Legal Authority's help, we'll still be glad to advise you.
- Two years of free resume and cover letter revisions.
Within the first two years of membership, we'll revise your cover letter and resume at any time at no cost to you once you purchase your initial search. After the first two years, revisions are available for our special member fee of $100 per revision. If you need your resume and cover letter updated in conjunction with a new mailing to go out to employers, there is no fee. The $100 fee applies only if you want them revised separately from a mailing.
- No more membership fees ever.
If you are ever in the market for a new job again, you'll only be asked to pay for the preparation of your cover letters, envelopes, and resumes that we print and address to your selected employers. You will never have to pay another cent to remain a member of Legal Authority, and you'll forever reap the benefits of your membership.

Our great guides and how-to manuals are filled with helpful tips, tricks and information. As soon as we publish them, they're yours.
